Bytai watches the services your customers depend on and sends the status update on your behalf, under your name, when something goes wrong.
Set a check, set who hears about it, and Bytai handles the rest — including the all-clear nobody remembers to send.
Checks run from three regions once a minute. A check has to fail from at least two of them before anyone is told, which is the difference between a status update and a false alarm.
You can watch HTTP endpoints, TCP ports, and scheduled jobs that are meant to check in. For that last one Bytai tells you when nothing arrived, which is the failure most tools never mention.
Notices to your customers go out as text or email, in your wording, from your name. Bytai does not sign them.
There is a status page if you want one, and an API if you would rather build your own. Neither is required to get the first check running.
